Because I have been trying to sell these things for a long time, and I need the money, every day that passes I am going to drop the price of each speaker $5 until they get sold. I have a feeling somebody is going to get a rediculous deal on these subs.

dual 4 ohm, the slit runs from cone to gasket. i applied a special adhesive to the back side, and the slit has not gotten worse after a number of hours of play-time. it is purely cosmetic and does not affect the mechanics of the sub.

I'd put a thin layer of silicone ll in the slit just enough to get it to bond together, and apply a thin layer to the underside of the slit, and call it a day. IMO I wouldn't recone it, should play fine like that. If not then I'd recone it. It's most likely only gonna cost $4 to fix.
