Looking to buy a couple (2) 15" subwoofer baskets. They need to be 6 bolt pattern, and have a 4" coil opening.

I am not looking for some expensive brands or a particular type. A generic 12 spoke would be fine. Just as long as it meets my needs.

Needs to be super super cheap. I saw a pair sell for $30 shipped, and I am in no hurry to buy.

I will need pics to determine condition. So post them UP!!!

Payment will be paypal and will be after I get paid at the first of whatever month I buy them. I get paid once a month, so this is my only option, which is why I am not in a hurry.

I will post pics of my motors and the specs of the motors (you really shouldn't need them) but I will post up everything just for the sake of being thorough.

Thanks for Looking!!!

Here's some motor specs:

Sub 1

Voice Coil: Outer diameter: 4.1065

: Inner diameter: 3.9085

Pole Vent height: 2.0110

Top plate height: 1.9875

Basket hole distance: Inner 4.7860

: outer 5.1810

Sub 2

Voice Coil: Outer diameter: 4.1045

Inner diameter: 3.9085

Pole Vent Height: 2.0110

Top Plate Height: 1.9875

Basket hole distance: Inner: 4.7860

Outer: 5.1810

Here are some pictures, they are not clean right now, but will clean up nicely!!

I am not looking for high excursion, or super high SPL. These will be the first subs I have ever built, so I am not concerned with building a "Super" subwoofer. Or better yet, I am not interested in trying my hand at ruining an expensive recone kit and basket for my first hand built subs, lol.

If you need any more information, please don't hesitate to ask!!!

Don't worry, I have a bad habit of putting up a million pictures!!! I am not sure if my re-coning will end up successful, but I figured I should try and find out!! And you're right, they have a really tight gap. I am not trying for a very high excursion, or power handling in these subs, and these motors fit my needs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif But if you know someone with some baskets, tell them to holla at me. I am not particular on type, heck I would take a pro-audio basket if it bolts right up, lol

Pierce Audio has them and I think PSI. If not anything I will just have some custom one's made. My biggest problem seems to be deciding on a cone material. There's not as many options for coils, so my biggest chance for customization is gonna come with the cones and spiders. I am still up in the air on those, so if you got some ideas Dave, don't hesitate to throw me tips!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I was just thinking, those would sure look good with TRF baskets on them. I would just use a paper cone and dual 8" spiders.
I think I may know someone with a couple, but they won't be cheap, lol. Would you do pressed paper or just stiffened paper? I was thinkin about doing an aluminum cone, but definitely something lite and low mass and stiff.

@OldSchoolRF; do you happen to have some 15" Fosgate baskets? Maybe we could work something out, :up2somet:

I am always open to offers and pics! I am gonna need these baskets no matter what, cause no matter what, my old lady isn't gonna talk me out of it, lol. As far as having to be RF's it really doesn't matter, so if you got some cheapo cheapo baskets hanging round that's covered in dust, they will do too. This is mainly a test to see if I can do my sub building from now on, or whether I will need to use a builder.
