Which do you think would be louder? Also, is there any difference at all between the 2008 and 2009 version of the HCCAs. Since on sonicelectronix the 2009 version is almost $300 more.
I doubt it, even though the Orion's have a 4"VC they are still crap.i would get the AQ's but the orions can take more power.so if you have 20kw on hand get the HCCA's.
IIRC the 09 recones work in the 08 version so they would have to be pretty close in specs.
what did you meter yet? highest so far?I doubt it, even though the Orion's have a 4"VC they are still crap.
I give my AQ's 3500 each daily and they love it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Me too, but i tear my spiders up, but now the aluminum ones come with a 9 layer extremely stiff spiders, i almost want to say they are DD spiders. I have 1 new recone with the new 9 layer and 1 old one with the 7 layer, so far the new ones i think are going to hold up finally //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifI doubt it, even though the Orion's have a 4"VC they are still crap.

Copper's will take 2k a piece no problem. Moving into higher numbers than that is going to depend a lot on your install.Do you think the Copper HDC3 15s would hold up easy at 2k watts a piece?
How so?WOW what a helpful comment!
have you ever run HCCA's?
i fed my HDC3-copper 18's about 4Kw each.
paul strouth fed his 2 hcca 12.2's FOUR MOJO 4Kw's = 18Kw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
you are 100% biased toward AQ and since you know nothing about HCCA's STFU and GTFO
