2 15 l7s or 2 15 cvx

what is the best choice? is one louder than the other? or are they almost the same in db wise?

From what i heard the L7s will be a little louder but the CVXs will have better SQ

I don't really know, but i'd imagine the CVX's would have better SQ. And the L7's ahve a rep for loud as ****.

If ya like ROund subs go with the CVX if ya like that unique kicker square look go with the L7s other than that just get the one you can find the best deal for...

alright since they're both 1000 watts each what would be the best amp to push either subs

any 1000 watt rms amp? (make sure the subs wire down to correct ohmage (if that is even a word))

the cxv is weak. mechanically its noisy and bottoms out quite easy. my type R owns it. but since were not comparing them id say the L7 would be best.

u had it like 1 box and didnt even have that long. im not complainin bout my l7s at all. i'd take these over Rs anyday, if the price rite

i had the cvx for over a month in a 4.0 cube box tuned to 33hz. it sounded decent but the type r sounded much better and got louder to the ear and the TL. mark played with it to, and didnt have great results

i've always had an idea... porting an L7 really low, im talking in the teens
