2 12's and a 10

i have 2 jl 12' w0's and i was wondering if i bought a 10 jl w0" if it would sound better with the 2 12's that i already have. i could get the sub for 35$ w/ nothing wrong w/ it. is there any reason why i shouldn't get it?

generally its not a good idea to mix sub sizes...the cone weight of the 12" will be different than the 10" and can make things slightly out of phase.

i dont know much but maybe if u set the freq. higher than normal on the amp it would act more as midbass than lower bass?I'm not sure, but ive heard not to mix them...
