2 12's and 2 10's

ok. so this is probably a really stupid question, but i was a having a conversation with my gf brother whom is planning on running 2 rf p1 10's and 2 rf p1 12's in the trunk of his plelude. it just seems to me like this idea isnt going to work out too well. to me, it seems like the 2 different size subs would create different sound waves which would sound crappy? am i right or am i just another idiot?

i would recommend using the same type and quantity of subs.

it will only work right if he puts them in a 2 cube common chamber and runs them all off of the same amp.

Yes ^^^^ but it takes a lot more knowledge of tuning and so on to get that to work correctly which he probably doesnt have...
