i discovered these 18's because someone told me about them on another forum in doing some research they are pretty well made and do what a good job for the price... http://video.snoopdan.com/reviews/mach5.htm heres a link to a review on the sub with termlab test results, also a video check it out...i can get 2 of these 18" subs for 188 shipped to my door. hard to beat that price....i just dont know if i should get them over fixing my blown 12L7 i had 2 12L7s one blew and if i were to keep the setup id have to get a new one around $200+. i had the kickers in a ported box using 1000+ watts at 2 ohms and they hit nicely....down side to these 2 18's is that their 8 ohms, if i got 2 of them id prob be putting them in a sealed box since im limited on space in my trunk and i wont be able to make a big enough box to make it worthy of porting(so i think), and id only be able to put them to 787@4ohms which one do you think would be louder....the 2 kicker 12L7s at 1000@2ohm or these two 18" mach5's at 787@4ohm??
here are the specs of both the subs i know little about the t/s parameters...maybe someone can explain the differences between the specs and why one is superior to the other. thanks!
