2 12"s or two 15"s???

So made a bet with a friend. I have 2 12"s Kicker cvr's laying around and 2 kicker cvr 15's in a pre-fa ebay box sealed box(4.5cu ft. total) in my SUV. And i think if i got a custom box built to specs for my other 2 12"s of the same kind just smaller the output would be very similar maybe even better.

My plan for the 12"s in the suv was 4.5 Cu.ft ported tuned to 36hz downfiring.

Both setups would be getting 600wrms at 4 ohms so which do you think in an SUV would be louder? I know the 15's can move some serious air on the power i give them but id like your all opinions.

What are they rated at each.... what is min. volume on each sub?

go ported and u will get the db's back def, but why not just make a custom box 4 the 15's

Are you planning to have each set up metered to find out which is louder?

And is there a reason you want to use a down firing enclosure?

What kind of SUV is this going in?

I thot downfire was good? mainly because its going in my 2006 lx Lexus so i dont want ppl to see i have subs. Yes i will have them metered and the bet was 15s in prefab or 12's in custom as i said above. both pairs getting 600wrms only

its all in the build if you do the 12s right they will destroy the 15s.

Downfire may sound pretty good, but if you plan on comparing these with another set up on a meter then they aren't going to be as loud.
