the reason i ask is the 12"s would be easier and less problematic but the 15"s are louder and harder to get right

I think you need to clarify what exactly your doing, and what your goals are.

Ex. 12's in a trunk box? What does that mean? I'm going to assume you mean 12's in a box in a trunk. A sealed box or ported? I will also assume this "trunk box" is built to recommended specs, whether sealed or ported.

And for the SE 15's. In a sealed accord firing forward. I don't know how to interpret that. Are you saying your going to take out the rear seat, and fire them in place of it, with the car trunk sealed off. (which would make a huge difference in SPL). Or put the seat down and seal the trunk off? Or something different? Would this box have a port or be sealed also?

All these questions need to be answered before we can really tell you which would be louder and better. 2 15's in a bad box with the trunk not sealed off could easily be less loud than the 2 12's out of the trunk ported. It all depends on install.

I didn't know it was hard to get subs in general. They both are the same "hardness" to get.

I haven't heard a lot about the IXL's, but I think the SSD's are a little out of his budget from the other subs that he posted.

2 12"s in 4 cube box firing back ported. 2 15"s sealed in trunk firing forward. also option i just found was 2 12"s sealed in trunk firing forward. this would be easier than buildin a box in the trunk. here is the design im gonna mimic

except i wouldnt have the pports through rear deck on 12"s but would for the 15"s.
