Are you looking for SPL or SQ?

The two set ups would yield completely different results. The RL-P's would have a fair amount of output, as well as great SQ.

As for the MT, if you have proper room for an enclosure then should kill the RL-P's in output, however SQ would be worse.

I am a SPL man, so I would choose the MT, with an extra 2500D though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

yeah i kno, i got a re 35.1 on my 12 daily, in a ported box thats bigger than SS recommends, not a small *** sealed box, i had it cranked up HU @ 34/40 sat nite for i think about 5 hours straight, cuz we were outside drinkin and needed some music

SPL.

I believe the RL-Ps did a a 149.xx in the box they are in with about 700 each. Not too sure if Id feel confident dropping the Orion to 1 ohm on them.

A second 2500d isnt an option at the moment- not only would I need the second amp, but all of the electrical upgrades that would go with it.

I (briefly) had a 15" XXX, that fvcker was loud.....I talked to UndercoverPunk today, he said the 15" MT he has listening experience with got WAY louder than a 18" XXX.......

Enclosure space isnt really an issue, going in an SUV.
