2 12" RE RE's or 1 12" RE SE

im gonna get either one or the other, and im wondering what would be better for more of an sq/sql type application. I just did some stuff in winisd and the 1 SE in a ported 3ft3 box tuned to 28 hz has the 2 REs sealed in a 4ft3 box beat in the 40-70hz range(crossed over at 70hz) but from 40 below its pretty even with the REs just a tad better. since the 2 re's are the same prive as 1 se and i would save money on the amp for the re's would they be the better buy if i was just looking for sq/sql?

why? i dunno why i like 2 sub setups better, maybe cuz since there are two naturally i think more sound.

and also i thought i read something in an old thread about the SE being the man spl sub for RE and the XXX being the sq sub. so does that mean the SE can get really loud or am i just a liar?

i say se sealed. ive had experince wit both situations and the are wayyyyyyyy better sealed. u wont be disappointed. i would not port an SE.

not even really low? i just want it to have great sq and hit all the low bass. i thought the ported at 28hz would do it but what about like a 3ft3 sealed box?

and i choose the 3ft3 ported cuz in winisd that gives me the response i was lookin for

The SE sealed or ported

Yellow= 2 12" RE re's in 4ft3 box sealed

Gray= 1 12" RE se in 3ft3 28hz ported box

Red= 1 12" RE se in 3ft3 sealed box

so jugding by that i thought the 3ft3 box tuned to 28hz would be best, or am i doin this all wrong?

3 cubes ported is too big for the SE

its not a good thing....its going to sound boomy and cone excursion is going to be wicked

2 cubes ported is the biggest I would go for SQL (Im going to use 1.75 cu ft tuned to 30 hz.)
