Hi guys,

I'm wondering which ones would pound harder in a Chevy Blazer if I get the correct box made and use the right amps. I listen to a lot of rap music and I like any thing with a beat.

I plan on getting two. I've read that not many people like Power Acoustik but a friend of mine had 2 12" FUBR and they hit hard.

  • Audioque HDC3 12" (Link To Specs)

    2,000 Watts Max
  • 1,000 Watts RMS
  • 88.172 dB
  • 43 Hz

  • Alpine Type "X" 12" (Link To Specs)

    3,000 Watts Max
  • 1,000 Watts RMS
  • 84 dB
  • 4 - 200 Hz

  • Power Acoustik MOFO 12"

    2400 Watts of Power (Max)
  • 1200 Watts RMS
  • 90 dB
  • 36.7 Hz

Thanks,

Corey

The hdcs are a much more capable sub than the type x. The type x doesnt really get loud at all. The type r is much louder than it.. Easy choice, hdc

btw the mofo is crap

Mofo's will get loud, but will sound like pure ****.......of course SQ is subjective, lol!

Type X's can get loud as well and sound very good to boot. Don't know why people say they can't get loud. I have heard a few setups with them and sound very good.

Never heard the Audioques. But they do well around these parts.
