My headunit goes to a max of 45, i usually play my music between 30-40, I have the gain real low on my subs, and the head unit eq set to +7/7 bass. when i turn the volume on my headunit up to about 38-40 I hear popping noises on long low notes that sounds like the back of the sub is hitting the back of the sealed box, which isnt possible becasue it is bolted down, but that is what it sounds like. when i turn it down a little it stops, but the thing is, i have the gain down low so its not like im over powering it, hell im most likely underpowering it and that is why i dont understand why i am getting this noise. my subs are in a 06 chevy impala</p></blockquote><p></p>
