2 12' hdc3 vs 1 15' fi btl n2 ?

Whats louder. I'd like some suggestions. I need to decide between 2 12 hdc3 or a 15 fi btl n2. I only have space for a 4 cu ft box for both set. I have an aq2200d amp and will be getting a 220a alternator soon. I'd like to know what will have more spl? the 15" fi btl n2 or the 2 12' hdc3?

is that 4cube gross or net? 4 cubes might be too small for a pair of HDC's. as for which gets louder, i think it boils down to how the box is built...it would seem to me to be like a close match
