2 10" or 1 12" ported

im looking into getting either 2 mach 5 ixl-10 or 1 mach 5 spl 12. both for a daily driver. what do you guys think would be better, they are both about the same price.

Well loud isn't really specific enough still. The two 10's will yield more surface area therefore it's going to be "louder".

Just remember, the enclosure it is in makes a lot of difference.

yes i know the enclosure has a big part in it. my q is in a 2.5 @32 box. it has crazy low end but the upper end just isnt there.

I'd go with 2 10"s since I like clean bass. seal the 10ssssss don't port them if you want loud get a 15 otherwise go for clean bass. Distortion is baddd
