1999 oldmobile intrigue radio removal

In the alero I know you have to take off the gear shift knob ( there is a clip on the front of it that you just pull out for an automatic ) then you pop the trim panel off for the gear selector.

next you pull the hvac and the radio trim as one piece.

any screws in the radio trim piece, or just clips? any crazy *** tool to get the radio out. my factory radio in my t-bird had special clips that are a ***** to get to work

ok, in case anyone ever searches for this one day...

no need to remove the shifter. push down the e-brake and put it in neutral. open the arm rest and remove the 2 screws at the front. lift up the part with the cup holders (there are about 4 clips holding this down). next pull straight out at the bottom of the radio trim piece. you will have to pull pretty firmly, but don't break the clips. then there are 3 phillips screws holding the stock radio. unscrew and pull out the radio. Unclip the harness, pull the antenna wire out and you're done.
