1998 grand marquis

I jus got a 98 grand marquis and i am going to put a stereo in it but i can't find a place to run the power wire from the battery. Any help is much appreciated and pics will be helpful.

U must haven't looked yet or didn't look that good. There is a large rubber grommet on the passenger side at the bottom of the dashboard. There is going to be part of the car wiring harness running thru it, but it's only about 3/4in and the grommet is a good 3in across. All u have to do is put a slit in it and run ur line thru.

yes its under the dashboard. you have to do a little searching to find it but its there.

i just drilled mine when i had it..pass sideabout 8-10in from the kick panel where the firewall curves into the floorboard..I also beleive there a 1" grommet on the floorpan on the pass side..I never had luck finding a grommet on the pass side firewall.

i got a 97 but i went thru i would say where the door hinges. and from there put it where the rest of the eletrical goes
