I have an '88 4runner that was stolen but recovered 2 days later. The problem is that it won't "move" now. The engine runs fine, has new plugs, plug wires, etc. The a/c compressor makes some noise when on but it blows cold. Its an SR5, 4wd, V6, 5sp manual. Lifted, 33" tires. Chrome step bars. White exterior, grey interior. 193,000.
The problem is somewhere in the drivetrain, when I got the truck back the clutch was out of fluid. I filled it back up and bled it, so now it works but still doesn't engage. So my guess is that it needs a clutch to get it going again.
The blue book on this truck is $2,255. Im asking less than half that, I need to sell it.
