[QUOTE="Midnyte, post: 350206, member: 551604"] Hey all, new to the forum, and this is for a friend... I already know the XXX will be louder/deeper, but what were wondering is that since there's such a price difference, is the 18 still worth it? He has a Planet Audio 2250.1 and that seems like it would suit the 18 better. Another thing were looking at is box sizes and which to go with. He has a 90 Eclipse hatchback so there's not a ton of space. Which sub would be better suited for sealed, and which for ported (if not both). RE's site isn't very informative yet, probably because of the new design and getting that all put together. In other words, spill as much as you know about both :thumbsup . Anyways, thanks for the help in advance. BTW, a bit about my setup... I drive a black 89 F-150 single cab, running 2 sealed Elemental Design 10 O's, fed by a Planet Audio 850.1, and my HU is a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X759. Door speakers are next to be replaced hopefully w/ a 3-say comp set including kickpanels, but for now they're 13 yr old JVC's ran offa 50W coustic amp (sounds decent for how old they are, hehe).
