I dont have a car right now but I'm planning on getting a civic/accord sedan, when i get it i'm gonna take out the back seats to put in a huge box.I'm not sure how much ft^3 i could get out of doing that but i know it'll be a lot. I wanna get a mtx 81000d or 1501d amp for daily driving. Then switch off to a stronger amp for comps. Which one do you think would be able to handle 1500 rms daily and still play strong at comps?And which one will have a little more sound quality. I know both of them have barely any.

Strokers are loud, but didn't get as high a number as the treo here in Korea. Would have been the fault of the install, but still, the treo's scored MUCH higher.

You need a big box for those woofers like 6 + cubes do you not?

You might have enough room, im running 7.5 cubes roughly in an acura hatch back.

I guess most jap cars would have no probelm getting 7~9 cubes if the rear seats are removed...

A jeep cherokee can fit about 10 cubes (before displacement) with the rear seats still up, and the bos height no going over the rear window sill.

Neither a stroker or a treo csx should be used for ANY type of daily driver. it will sound like complete SHIT. both woofers, are in no way, designed to play music. they are made specificly for tone bursts. you play any type of music on it and it is going to sound insanely terrible.

How about a RE-HC18 or a RE-XXX18 or even an Adire Maelstrom 18", good for SPL and Daily driving....

those would be a great choice for a SPL/loud daily sub. but youll need to give them a good ammount of box area.

I don't know much about the treo, but I've seen more than one stroker used as a daily driver......
