prolly because the opti1400 is what would be chosen out of the two but its not quite enough power.

they are nearly the same.......

yes except the 2000 is .5 ohm stable and is more beefy to handle that. There almost the same except the 2000 does 2000 @ .5 and the 1400 prolly does a smoke out. So the 2000 does about 6-700 more watts overall.

That amp won't run a half ohm daily, i highly suggest you not try it.

i assume you mean the 1400? If so, i definitely agree.

Thats what i was just about to say.....running the amp at a .5 ohm load daily will heat the amp up alot.....

Honestly, get a 18 BL fully loaded dual2ohm on that Bxi1606d would be a good match up. The BL will prolly be louder on that givin power than the BTL.

if you guys are referring to the opti2000d i know from experience that it will run at .5 daily without getting hot.

I just let her wang full out for about 2 hours straight on the highway today with the gains at 1700 watts at .5 ohms and it barely got above room temperature. You couldn't even consider it warm.

ok so i have pretty much made my mind on the Bxi1606d.....so do i want the dual 2 ohm or dual 1 ohm for this amp???? also i want the sub to be a daily driver sub note a 1 note sub....so i am only getting cooling, and universal option.....is that ok???? Sorry to jump around but i have just discoverd the Power Acoustik A2400DB amp...which one would you go with.......i still need to run it at 1 ohm tho......also i need to know what type of 18" i should get...the Dual 1 ohm or Dual 2 ohm???Please Help fast!

i would get the hifonics and order a d2 sub so that you'll get a 1 ohm nominal load.

ok i am getting the hifonics.....i want a 1ohm load.....so i am getting the Dual 2 ohm option along with cooling and the daily option.....to wire it i should connect all of the positives to positive terminal and all of the negatives to the negative terminal......just to make sure..... also...(sorry for jumping around so much but my mind is going crazy right now) should i get a 15'' BL or a 18" BL i know 18 has more area but will the 15 hit harder with the power i am giving it.

i have a a2400db and there is a fully loaded BL 18 being built for me. it should be a good match. mine is dual two and i will be runnining the amp at 1 ohm
