18" Btl Vs 15" T1

How are these subs? How much power can they take? I was down at a local shop showing off the BTL seeing what they thought of it. The Guy i was talking to was real cool and had heard of RE Audio so i told him scott left and started FI. A guy that came in the front door that worked there and the women that runs the register told him i would trade him my 18" BTL for his 15" T1 and i quickly said that i wouldnt. He proccedded to tell me that his 15" would destroy my 18" In every way possible that FI and RE was trash lol. That bothered me so i told him i would be back in a few weeks and we would just see who would kill who lol. What do you guys think and i over my head? Whats his sub capable of. I will be powering mine with the RF T30001bd amp@1ohm. The guy wouldnt tell me what kind of enclosure or how much power he was running.

well a kid at my school had 2 12" T1's and when he heard the mags, he said it was too much for him.

even i, as audio illiterate as i am, can say that his T1 wouldnt even be close to the 18" BTL.

unless he has like 2-3 15's then i see it possible.

a lot more cone area for 1.

and it'd take a hell of an install for that to be true.

One of my friends, B&W_EE on here, his brother replace his T1 15" with a fully loaded BTL.

The BTL shits all over the T1.
