18" BTL on 7000watts rms o_0

I'm going to be testing out a couple of Visonik v4000xd's this weekend on a fully loaded Dual 2 ohm 18" BTL.

Here's the amps that are being tested...

(2) Visonik Rms Power @ 14.4V DC: - people say this amp is correctly rated

1 x 2500W @ 4 Ohm,

1 x 3500W @ 2 Ohm

(1) Planet Audio RMS Power @ 14.4V DC: - people say this only does 1500 @ 1 ohm.

1x1500W @ 2ohm

1x2250W @ 1ohm

snoopdan's old Visonik amps...

At 1st I'm going to only use a single Visonik v4000xd and wire the sub to give the amp a 4ohm load and see ff that's an improvement over the Planet Audio running at 1ohm.

The Visonik is rated at 2500rms @ 4ohms so I hopefully it should push the BTL much harder then my Planet Audio.

Next I will do something that I've never done before. I'm going to hook both Visonik amps up to the sub. My plan is to put (1) amp on each voicecoil, that means there will be a 2ohm load off of each voicecoil going per amp.

Before I do this I want to know what precautions I should take. What would happen if I was to fail in setting each gain exactly the same on each amp. With (1) voicecoil getting a little more power then the other would that damage anything?

When I have both amps connected to the BTL I plan to adjust the gains so each amp puts out around 1500rms.

If one coil is getting a bit more power, it won't matter. Just set them as accurately as possible with a DMM

put each around 2000. and get some earplugs.. . and set em both exactly the same with a dmm.

So you're buying the second amp to go from 2500 watts to 3000? I'd just save your money.

As for one amp to each coil. It should be fine. Set everything the same and you'll be fine.

LOL sure I'll make a flex vid of the setup flexing gas stations, large windows, moving shirts hanging over the window etc. I have hella dynamat on my roof so it wont flex like everyone elses vid's with there non dynamated roofs, I'm not sure how you guys can stand that sound of the metal flexing. The 1st thing I did when I got bass was put a few trunk kits of dynamte xtreme on my roof and hatch.

Fresh 100amp alt BIG3 fresh yellow top 1/0ga back to another fresh yellow top.

Connecting both amps is only going to be a temp setup or a couple days, I'm not looking to get anywhere near the output of waht they can do with what the electrical system is taht I have now. I'm not buying them yet just testing them out to see what the BTL can do with some more power. My current setup is fine for connecting a single 2500wrms amp, but if I decide that the BTL can handle more then 2500rms daily I will have to buy a new 250-300 amp alt to get the amps anywhere near there full potential and will go with possibly a Kinetic 16v battery in back since I've got a really good hookup on them.

What vehicle and at what tuning is this thing gonna be at. Will you have TL numbers?
