800w rms
Works sealed, ported or IB
XBL^2 motor topology
D2 ohm copper coil (OEM spec)
This subwoofer was built from a used AA avalanche motor, new 18" 12 spoke basket, OEM spec coil, spider, terminals, cone and dustcap.
This is close to a brand new Avalanche 18" as you're ever going to find.
We used our own inverted 6" CF cap, which is very similar to the original. It's not a perfect 100% match, but as I said, as close as you'll ever find.
The only thing that is not set up like the original Avalanche spec are the leadwires. I chose to use sewn leads as they are a BIG improvement over the original setup. These leads will prevent any premature failure due to burnt or broken leads. It will also eliminate lead slap! This has no adverse affect on the performance of the subwoofer in any way. Its a great improvement.
As you can see in the photos, there are a few dings and scratches on the motor assembly, but nothing major at all. The motor is in 7.5/10 condition at least.
The basket is new, but has been sitting in a stack of baskets. You'll see in the photos that there are some small dings in the spokes of the basket just from being in contact with another basket, being moved around, etc. Again, nothing major at all, but I like to give a proper description for any potential buyers.
$250+ship
I will never sell this for any less than $250+actual shipping costs. Do not ask to buy it for less, because you cannot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
