well the program im in at my college has this gay thing that allows u to be late/miss so many days of class, after that they put you on 'contract', which basically is a piece of paper saying i understand that if im even late one more time, i get kicked out of the program and have to wait 6 months to come back. well i was on 'contract' and today i was late //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. idk what to do now. i liked my program and everything, but working on cars for a living burns u out pretty quick and i dont wanna feel like im 80 even before im 50, so i guess i gotta think about what i want to do now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

What kind of joke of a college is that? College is about degrees. Going to class is completely optional considering you are paying for it... go when you need to, take the tests, pass classes, get degrees.

its community college...the only one ive heard of that do this kinda g@y ass ****...and get this, my program is the only one in the college that does it...heh.

The school I go to is ghey like that.. most classes are 'miss more than 3unexcused days' and your grade starts dropping.. up to a full letter grade for each additional day..

major ghey...

its supposed to be college....not a high school.

thing is, according to them, there is no such thing as an 'excused abscence' //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

My 2 year college does the same thing, but they allow the professor to dictate how he wants to handle it. My accounting class for example, has a policy that you are allowed 2 "unexcused" absences. For anything more than that, points are deducted from your grade, and in cases of extreme tardiness, the proffessor has the right to drop you from the class.

threaten to contact their accredidation board because they cant hold attendance against you if they are a nationally accredited school. I wouldnt of signed ****.

at my college you miss one "unexcused absence" it said in the big rulebook they have that you automatically fail the class. and they don't even tell ya or ya find out tillyou get the midterm report or final report. and it's a community college as well....

im reconsidering what i wanna do anyways, so there isnt really any point IMO.

**** i would just do it for the principal. When i was in college they tried to give me a B in a class that I aced because I missed 4 classes. I mentioned how that was a violation of their accredidation and got my A //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

funny thing is I only read 1 book the entire 3 years I was in college and graduated with a 3.8 GPA and yes I got my bachelors in 3 year, did an accellerated program.

what kind of program is this, if its like some business thing most likely its to teach you how to be on time , if you're on time for school you'll be on time for work.

If your early your on time, if your on time your late, if your late don't bother showing up.

Good thing I don't go to your school. I had this Statistics class and I showed up less than 30% of the time. I went over a 5 classes without going and still got a high B in the class.
