1500w on two 1000w 12" subs

I won't name any brand names to prevent biased comments. Let's just say they are good names. Can I still get great bass without distortion of underpowering from two 1000w rms 12" subs from a 1500w mono amp (750w rms X 2)??? They call for 1.0 cu ft for each sub in a sealed box. And if I decide to get a 2000w rms amp, can I survive with a 110amp alternator??

 
depends on the subs ,and also depends on your car , some cars/trucks can handle 2000 rms on a stock electrical with the big 3 and some cant even take 700 rms
