get a brahma...... you will want it later anyway. it always starts out "well is it worth it....." bla bla bla...... then you get that cheaper subwoofer.
well eventually you want something louder, and you wish you could go back in time and get the better woofers. so you try to sell the "cheaper" woofer. to your surprise you lose half your money cause nobody wants to pay what you did for it (or even close for that matter).
so just take my advice and get the better woofer -now-. and if you decide to upgrade power -later- you already have the right woofer at hand. remember 1600 watts RMS isnt a requirement. its only a THERMAL rating for the woofer.
i have to say. im not in any place to spend $300+ on a single subwoofer. i dont understand how anyone would. id rather spend 150 and marvle because the 15 tempest will kick the poop out of my 10" SE.
lol, it's kind of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/scared.gif.f134e57c6c93ccd0f15aa5ac32c7d4a0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif
But since i own 2 id take the Brahma, you WILL want 1 eventually....just get it now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
i dunno. id rather save like, um.. $400 and get a decent amp insted. but whatever. if youve got the money, get a brahma. if not, get a tempest. if you got the wattage for the brahma, and the money, get the brahma. if not, get the tempest.
thats what it comes down to.
but you will need like 4 cubes. thats for certain.
