15" L7 vs. 15" CVX

I recently purchased a 15" 06 kICKER L7.....i would like to kno what the differences are compared to a cvx? Ive heard that the only differences are the cvx is round vs. square and that the cvx's have more sq... do the cvx's get as loud?

cvx is just a round l7. L7 has a slight advantage due to cone area.

not to thread jack but is it true that because L5s and L7s are square they not only become slightly louder but lose some sq as well?

yes they are sqaure, no, this does not loose in SQ, they ahev done both, SPL and SQ
