15" Fi Q vs 15" Treo SSI

In a dilemma of which sub to get. Treo can be had for ~75$ less.

If I had no electrical worries, I'd pick the Q already, but here's whats going on.

Wires:

1x Kicker hyperflex 0ga run to trunk

Amps:

Sundown SAZ 1500D

Sundown SAX 100.4

Sundown SAX 100.2

The Treo SSI would be run at 2ohms, getting about 900 watts

Fi Q would be run at 1ohm, about 1600 watts

My concern is without having any electrical upgrades, would I need to worry about voltage dropping if I were to run the 1500 at 1ohm?

My stock alt is 110amps, and I don't have an upgraded battery.

I plan on doing a few of the Big 3 with the ~10ft of extra 4ga I have, but not enough wire to do it all.

After seeing the videos of the Fi Q, I'm fully impressed by that excursion of that badboy. I've only seen videos of a 12" Treo SSI so I've yet to see what they can do. What would you do?

I dont have experience with either but im sold on getting a 15 q in the very near future if that means anything. As far as electric Im sure you'll youll get dimming and voltage drops(not sure to what extent) id say scrap the 4 guage and go for 0/1 as alot of cars come stock with 4 ga ne way. But take what I say with a grain of salt.

**** dude, switching up your sub already? you're doing a lot with your tsx.

i went ahead and installed a new deck in my tsx. no more bluetooth for me unless someone figures out how to wire up after an aftermarket deck to work with the stock blue tooth.

i dont think you would be let down by a Fi Q. very stout driver with plenty of extention. plays low and loud. cant say anything about treo as ive never heard anything from them...

I personally would choose the FI Q, just remember that you would need to get the BP Power option. It's an extra $40 if you haven't already figured it in.

I agree with darkist on the electrical. I wouldn't worry too much about the electrical until after you install the sub. If you get excessive dimming then do the Big 3.

Thanks for all the input. I'm pretty settled on getting the Treo SSI after reading some views and watching some videos. I just don't have the budget and time to spend an extra 150+ on the Q & build a new box. The Treo SSI enclosure recommendations is the same as my current box for my IDQ15", so it'll be a simply swap.

Also if I were to run the Q, I'd be worried about the electrical part, and if it is what I'm expecting if I did get the Q, then that'd be even more money spent; big 3;battery etc. Thanks for the help!

I'd rather have the IDQ over the Treo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I love my IDQ, but I need a Dual 4ohm :\ my IDQ is Dual 2..

So I figured why not try something else?

I originally wanted the Treo TSX, prolly 2 12's, but they're so hard to find. just cuz its "TSX" haha (my car)

I think the treo's innder diameter is .3xxx smaller, shouldn't be a problem
