15" BTL vs 12" IDMAX vs 15" TC3hp

Which one to get? I'm debating on the issue..i really want one of the 3.

I want the 15" BTL cuz the price seems pretty reasonable and would get loud in my car (i love loudness)

But I don't want it to be so loud that I can't even hear my speakers..and i'm more of a SQ kinda guy instead of SPL.

I heard good reviews all around..but i'm scared it won't get loud as the 15" subs would..plus the $450 price tag brand new is driving me away..

great all around sub.

so basically, it's between the IDMAX 12" 12D4 V.3 or the TC3hp.

Keep in mind I want to get loud + nice quality for under $1k with setup...

my 12" iDmax is plenty loud for me in a ported box. but i'm also more into sq. I would try to find one used...

in fact, i just sold one for $260 shipped.

15 Q will suites you. Not that the BTL sounds terrible but its main puporse is to get loud... really loud.

but i might power it with the Hifonics XX Hercules..

dual 2 ohm so you can wire the amp to 1 ohm mono

i would get the tc3k then if you want more sql, it can take a lot more power than the idmax will and more cone area as well...

someone is selling a used idmax12d4v3 @ ecoustics.com for $250 shipped (btw)
