15" Brahma or 18" Maelstrom

I am wondering what the concensus of the board would be.

I have about 8.75 FT^3 available. I would be using a JBL1200.1 amp.

What would be the prefered choice?

I would like good SQ but nice SPL numbers would a great bonus.

What are your recommendations..pitfalls and upsides to each.
