15" BL's or 18" BTL Is The Question???

I have an 18" BTL Fully Loaded, possibly wanna get rid of it to get 2 15" BL's. After doing some searching, I see I can run 2 15" BL's in the same space and the power as my 18" BTL would take. Either setup will consume 2500watts. What should I expect in differance? THANKS

more cone area to 15s, and i dont think 2000 is giving BTL what it needs to really shine, BLs could use some more too

the 18 will work in a smaller box than the 2 15s, BTLs dont need a huge box, with extra motor strength they can work good in small boxes

The BTL is new, havent even used it...

I was reading earlier in the SSD thread (which you were in) how one user thought the Bls were weak and power hungry. I think the SSDs would use the 1000 watts more efficiently, but I have no science to back that up or anything.

yeah, You have been through this dillema since I first started a while back...

I kinda feel the same, I was thinking and was told the same. If I get the BL's with no options I may as well get the SSD's. Opinion on that?

What numbers can I expect with 2 15" SSD's on 2000watts in a 7cf@32hz box?

I would check out the thread about what dBs different setups have hit. I did that a while back when I was thinking about getting some SXs. I went to the thread and then searched 15 sx and went to all the different instances and looked at what they put up in different boxes, different vehicles, and different amounts of power. Maybe there'll be some stuff in there for you to compare SSDs and Bls.
