13w7 or 2 10 AQ SDC2.5

Hey guys I have a chance to get my 2 10 AQ SDCs 3^3 at 32hz back from the guy I traded from for $260, but my close friend is trying to get rid of 13w7 for $250 (box is built for a 13w6 with a aero port so idk how it would sound). Both subs would be hooked up to my current amp , AQ1200D... The SDCs @ 1 ohm and the W7 @3 ohms..

What would be a better choice in this case?

The only problem I see I might run into is that I don't know how well the AQ1200 will perform at 3 ohms... Anyone have any experience with this?

Do you know how many subs are out there that can make the JL sound like a mid for that price?

I think you are going a little far there champ.....

at $900 the W7 may be overpriced.. but at $250 its an AMAZING sub.. and I would take it over a pair of entry-level audioque 10s any day of the week...

I'm not a JL apologist.. there susb are straight-out OVERPRICED.. but for $250 w/box.. I would buy it immediately(I have owned a 13w7 2 10w7s and a 12w7) its my fav of everything I've owned... including 9515ds/ID Max/Diamond D9/Fi Q/RE MX/HC/XXX/SE+++++++ many many more

Find out if ur amp can do .75ohm. If yes then get the W7

thats more of an answer i was looking for... but how would it sound off of ~600 rms? I'm thinking ~600 because the amp pots out 870 at 2 ohms and 510 at 4 ohms...So i'm guesstimating in between somewhere..

huh? These are the SDC2.5s... do you mean 3.0?

Find out if ur amp can do .75ohm. If yes then get the W7

Aren't the W7s already prewired to 3 ohms? I think they are dual 1.5 but there's only one pair of terminals.
