You got a 12 though. It seem the 15's are little better with the low end in sealed box compared to the 12's.

Nah, but your still right though. The low end is still bad for a 15 in general. Ported really seems to give these things a life of their own. If you got the room you should definitely go ported. No hesistations. I can wait to see how the dual 15 system will sound like though. It is going to be crazy.

I have my HC12 in a 1.9 cu ft box ported to 30hz with 1500rms off a hifonics zeus bx1500d and it's taking it great.. I still think it wants a bit more power...

werd, i cant wait to put my 15s in a ported enclosure as well, man the anticipaition is killing me, and also having to save up for it while having it is a killer... :thumbsdow

i ran my HC15 off a pair of vr1000d's for a bit...the sub loved every bit of it

FYI: vr1000d is rated at 1000@12.5V, expect a 20% increse for every additional volt, per crossfire tech department

i love this amp... i'm kinda reluctant to let it go for something like a DLS ultimate A6 or another similar amp.

yeah, it still works... after all this time at 14.2-14.5 volts, it rocks the living bejesus out of my car and everything inside. but i'm missing some notes due to the high tuning of my box... it's loud tho...

Yeah. This summer I think i'll go with a ported. I have an Audi (11cuft trunk). But I need my trunk space (golf, baseball,..etc). How do you think a 3.6cuft tuned to 30 would sound? My friends 4cubft tuned to 36 is too much for me. It was shaking my pants and stuff. My ears are going to be shot by the time I'm 25. Here are some pictures if you're interested.
