12W3v3-2ohms + 12W3v3-4ohms?

I'm in a bit of a situation. I had a set of 12W3v3-2s but one of them just stopped working so I went and got a replacement pair about 2-3 weeks ago. I just recently had time to replace the blown sub. Unfortunately when I purchased the replacement I was an idiot and didn't check which ohm version it was. It's way passed the refundable policy so they won't let me exchange. Now I'm stuck with two of the same subs with different ohm dependencies. Is there anything I can do here? I have a Alpine MRP-M1000 mono amp.

Anything I can do or is there simply nothing I can do?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I would not suggest it. One of the subs will take more of the power, I think it depends on how you wire it, and then that one sub will eventually blow.

I did this with some Kicker L7s, had 1 4 ohm, and 2 2ohm, and both the 2 ohms blew //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

You said wire both subs to 4ohms.. How can you wire a 2ohm sub to 4ohms?
I think you mean 4ohm to 4ohms, but if not... Wire the 2ohm sub in series

Forgot another issue. I can't wire a 4ohm sub to 4ohm. I guess I'm screwed. lol
