I think the problem is people mistake the Internet for real life.

this isnt an actual verbal conversation. and i dont usually take offense to anything posted here about me. but i come here for REAL help with my REAL system. and i would expect a little help and maturity out of the people who run the place so i can REALLY go work on my system.

Hey fatryan. You could always stop coming to this forum. I dont think anybody else suggested that, maybe I missed it. But that is the easiest solution to the problem.

let me get it straight. your upset cause a thread you created got locked/deleted cause it went off topic. yet if you read the sticky at the top of the lounge it clearly states what will happen to those type of threads.

i havent see a single thread about a mod except for jmac.

you must not look too hard cause i get flack all the time bout being a mod. but then again jack has already given ya links to a couple of those threads.

IMHO I think it has to do with the downward slide this forum has taken over the past couple of years causing what you see as the mods "changing attitude". It's not the mods fault for this, they were brought in by popular vote. I don't recall any of them coming to my door and holding a gun to my head and making me vote. There are some of us here to learn and try to help still. Seems now a days though people are more concerned with post counts than anything. You have one or two serious questions vs. 14 billion " I farted " threads. Nothing wrong with being a "noob". I don't know anyone who was born with an amp in one hand and a sub in the other ( would have been painful for mommy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) We all started somewhere. I would have given my right nut to have this kind of info when I was first learning. This forum and it's users offer a great wealth of knowledge collectively. Seems there are way too many people here who don't use it enough. This site is the first place new people find when first getting interested in car audio. This to me is the reason for so many new people, with "noob " questions. I see allot of users on here jump on people for asking questions they themselves asked when they were new. Instead of a polite response indicating the topic has been discussed in great detail in earlier threads, maybe even offering a link. We get wonderful helpful suggestions such as " use the f#cking search button ya d@mn Noob " When I first started posting on this site, it wasn't like this.

I didn't change my location info on my forum profile because I still live in Louisiana....I'm just not there at the moment. Where I am is 16.5 hours ahead of CST stateside.

According to the post I made mentioning the need to get dinner together it was posted @ 3:17am CST. It was around 1/4 til 8pm here.
