In response to the second part, PM him if you have a problem with something he did. Perhaps you could find a way to work it out, at the very least come to some understanding of why what happened happened, so to speak. If you have a problem with him personally, don't vote for him for moderator. Simple as that.

let me repeat...i havent seen any thread bout other mods. but i HAVE seen many about james.

and i know by the way he acts that PMing him would be a waste of my time. at least this way theres 1 more thread about him that shows others how he acts. maybe the voters will get the point this time

Look, Flakko....here's my position in this:

I migrated here from another forum that the moderation team felt if you weren't using X-brand speakers/subs, Y-brand amps, and Z-brand head unit then you were a completely hopeless car audio n00b and unworthy of their attention or their assistance. Well, everyone's entitled to their opinion and they are welcome to theirs. When their forum eventually gets deleted off of whatever server that supports it due to lack of traffic I hope they understand why.

I somehow managed to end up here. Even through all the BS I still retain the ability to learn from those who know more than I, attempt to give assistance to those who know less than I do, and generally have a goodtime while I am at it. There are some great people here that have much to contribute.

I have a wander through other forums and see that to an extent that CA.com is somewhat of the laughingstock of other "real" car audio bulletin boards and I have little wonder at why that might have come to pass. I do firmly believe, though, with a bit of concerted effort from all of the regulars....plain, regular posters as well as mods, this forum has the potential to be really great. I know, though, that it will only ever be what we make of it. No more, no less.

Continual in-fighting between members and mods will not let that happen.

Does there need to be some outlet of silliness? Yes, I reckon that's what The Thread is for. The other various subsections of the forum probably need to be kept in some semblance of order.

Bah ~ it matters little what I have to say or think about it. It will be what it will be regardless of my visions of "what could be" on the horizon.
