1200K and 10000K conversion street legal?

I was wondering if anyone knows if the 1200K headlight conversions were street legal because of the color of light put out?

i dont think iv'e seen a 1200 kelvin light....10000 is just stupid as that is almost too purple

so do you think the cops would hassle you for 10000 because my truck is painted with a house colors pearl purple and im just trying to kind of match itwith the light

i have 12,000k and and its not purple, its bluish white, i believe anything above 8,000k or 8,500k is illegal, i had some cops pull me over, but they never gave me a ticket, they actually thought the lights were badass. here is link to my cardomain site:

If you want to know how to setup a GOOD set of HID lights, check out HIDPlanet.com. There's tons of information there on what's legal and even how to retrofit your own. Awesome stuff.
