12 to 15's

so im thinking of changing out my ported single DC lvl 4 12" for two 15" lvl 3's sealed...... ya think it would be a bad move? my amp is nine.1 which will stay the same...... i would like to port the 15's but dont have the space for the box.

hmm possibly......not really wanting to spend money on a nicely tuned box, how would two 12's ported compare to two 15's sealed

i think the 2 15s should sound be louder since more cone area. but since your going sealed and keeping the same power the 12's might suit you better. try running a single dc lv4 15 ported.

im just kinda leaning towards sealed because i miss my rock music, rock seems to sound kinda weak with my current setup

well since your going from a single 12 now to 2 15's it will be louder. but the 12's ported is your best bet for spl.

i know it will be louder...... i just dont really have the time to build a nice ported box and dont wanna spend alot of cash on another box to get built.... ya know
