alright ive been posting alot don't mean too but ive been just lookin around for my 2nd system... im lookin for some subs that will give me good sq and sql and i don't want RE's cause i heard they wasn't as loud as SE's i have a 10 inch sony Xplod sub in my car now its 200 rms runnin on a 500w amp so i just want 2 12's with good sq and sql would 2 SE's work good with a good amp?well here are my plans are listed below.

2 12 SE's 169.00 EA

(Unknown brand) 1500watt amp

put unkown brand cause havn't decided what amp im gonna go with yet.. i wasn't sure how much rms 12' SE's had and does anyone know how much louder it would be then my 10' sony xplod 200 rms? my 10' sub is louder then i thought for the price i payed for it... thanks for any infomation.

10 chars= ten characters, which is how many letters u have to have in a post. And imo, thats an excellent sub setup. RE kicks *** and if you do a good install, you will love it to death.

i love mine, thats so sure...and my boy is runnin the same setup....well he has a sony 12" sealed...it hurts to hear it it sounds so bad

What type of amp would ya recommand to run 2 12 SE's? and why do people call them SE RE why don't they just say SE's or just RE's depending which kind they have? that confusses me alot lol.

the company Resonant Engineering (RE) has multiple series' of subs. one of them is the RE series, and one is the SE. quite a few people on here are quite fond of the RE 8"s cause of their size/sound ability and because the RE series is the only series with 8"s. browse around http://www.reaudio.com you'll find what your looking for, including the specs

give em 1000+ watts. and port them as well, theyll get nasty loud and sound great. theres tons of amps to choose from, just depends on how much u want to spend. look for something that is 1000-1200 watts at 1 or 4 ohms.

Well when i get the SE's and the 1200-1500 amp my budget will be no more then 500 bucks so its kinda edgey... im just lookin for a system thats gonna sound pretty good and not for it to be the BEST system or the loudest system there is... i think the 2 12 SE's and a amp shouldnt cost more then 500 bucks? if i got the right amp.

my amp now is a sony xplod 500 watt amp and with it i have my 2 front speakers wired to my trunk and they are hooked up the amp so are the subs but if i get a new amp that 1000+ watts for the SE's im gettin could i hook up my 2 front speakers plus the 2 SE's and would it be giving it about the amount of power? or would i have to use my xplod amp plus the new amp? thanks.

that may be kinda tough, 2 12" SE's will probly be 350ish leaving u only 150 for an amp. might wana check out the classfields section for a hifonics bx1000d.

i was thinkin about just 0ne re se 12'' and port it to 32 hz...do yall think 350 watts would be enuff to power it????? also it will be in a reg cab so it will be right beside me so i'm thinkin it would be pretty loud with only 350 watts....what do ya think
