I would say that rap is mostly spl. Personaly i would rather have some pretty loud woofers that still sounded good. Both the rlp and d6 are good choice for sql and will both get pretty loud, if in the right enclosuer which wouldnt be the one you were asking about. Out of thoes two I would chose the d6 but im a diamond fan. The L7 was also a good choice, they can get very loud, louder than the rlps and d6s but they are not going to soud as good as the d6s or rlps. It all comes down to what you decide you want spl or sql... hope this helps
