Ok heres my question my friend just bought a brand new 10 inch w6v2 and found out it wont fit in his truck.. so he is going to sell it to me for 200 bucks which is hell cheap for a new one. Anyways what i am asking is can i hear a big difference from the 12 to the 10. both pushed by a 500/1 and probable a ported box.

Due to the fact the 12" has more surface area/air displacement, it will be louder, and will have better lower-frequency response. Looking at the specifications, they have similar power handling experience, and 500W should be just fine to get a single 10" or 12" moving pretty nicely. Also personal experience with both the 10" and 12", I can say that based on hearing both, they both are very similar. Either one you choose will sound good in a ported enclosure.
