I don't necessarily need maximum SPL as I primarily use the subs to simply balance out the low end, although my current subs in two separate 12" 1 cu ft boxes can get louid enough to cause mty ears to hurt if I crank it up too loud for too long. I'm more into SQ than anything else. Basically I have the subwoofer amp set for normal listening, but a simple turn of the bass boost knob to full really causes my subs to hit hard. Nothing like these high powered systems, but is enough for me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
