I am running 200 WPC off a 4 channel amp bridged stereo so will need to be no less than 4 ohms impedance. I am looking for good quality sound down to 20 Hz. Also I do occasionally like it loud so I guess I need a sub that does a little bit of both if such a thing exists. I read a review on that Mag V4 subwoofer and it looks like that's what I'm going with. WHat's the frequency response on those subs? I currently have a pair of Pioneer TS-SW3041D 12" subs which work, but the low end is not exactly present like it should be. Once I get the subs installed I will play around with both amp's internal crossovers to achieve the best integration of the subs. I've listened to Tin Pan Alley by Stevie Ray Vaughn on my home stereo with 12" woofers and the drums sound better from those speakers than on the system in my car. Maybe these subs will take care of that. I wouldn't mind having some 12" midbass drivers in my doors to properly fill in the midbass frequencies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. I've never been to fond of car audio subwoofers since the drivers are not close to the other speakers as home audio speakers would be, but I am getting used to the sound. I'm sure once I get these subs and adjust everything properly I will get much better sound than what I already have. Also what frequency should I cross these subs over at?
$500.00 for two and a box. I am running 200 WPC off a 4 channel amp bridged stereo so will need to be no less than 4 ohms impedance. I am looking for good quality sound down to 20 Hz. Also I do occasionally like it loud so I guess I need a sub that does a little bit of both if such a thing exists. I will update my build thread with the progress on upgrading the subs. Thanks for the information.
