I actually had a set of these back in the day. I gotta say these older ones are better than the new crap they're putting out. Now it's all about the ornamental plastic all over everything. That includes the Power subs too. Junk compared to what they once were.... Still don't think these would be a bad deal for a girlfriends or wifes ride though...

Most impressive "budget" subs I've ever heard.

I actually had a set of these back in the day. I gotta say these older ones are better than the new crap they're putting out. Now it's all about the ornamental plastic all over everything. The newest round of the stuff goes back to the late 90s/early 2000s quality as the engineer that they had back then is back with them. They would be a good buy if had for the right price.

They are great budget woofers. Larry has put out a few 500w systems that rival 2-3x more expensive equipment with the Prime and Punch setups. Of course he can make a pair of 6x9s hurt if need be.
