Exactly. I bet maybe one person on this forum has heard one. My suggestion. Buy both and sell the one you like the least.

Might hold off a little while longer, wait for some reviews of the MX to start floating around. You should be able to find at least a few in depth reviews of the Mag already.

dont get the MX with only 1000 watts, i have one and have heard the other. I run my MX at almost 3k watts RMS and it still never bottoms out

Um, yeah. That's a $600 amp. It might be 1000 watts. On a good day. 3000 watts? I don't think so. You'd be spending atleast 1500 for an amp capable of that.......more like 2 grand

I think your views on price vs output are a bit skewed there buddy. Way to thread jack and make an *** out of yourself.

P.S. We all know that a TRUE 1000 watts is very hard to comeby, but that's a function of many variables including input voltage, and most importantly, impedence rise...not the cost of the amplifier.

unless you have one hell of an electrical system there is no way you are getting that kind of power. What type of batterIES and alt do you have???

dual optima bats and Exxcesive Amperage HO alt

amp birthsheet reads 22XX at 1ohm at 12 volts, im running at .5 ohm with steady 13.8

On the other hand the shop manager where i got my MX is running a Zapco amp running 1k watts ( forgot about it until now) Although im sure it sounds good, he's a SQ guy.

What are the specs of your alt, idle, and max output? And how much did you pay, I'm in need of an alt to supply 3000 watts as well.
