12" L7 in 4 cubes at 32hz

would an L7 hit hardest in rap music using a 4 ft^3 box ported at 32? a guy told me a good box size one time but i forgot. any opinions? thanks

4 cubes is way to big.I would try 2-2.75-3max @ 35-38hz.

That will work fine.All my 12" L5/L7s were in 2.5 at 34hz

imo go more around 3 if it'll fit.

i can fit like 9 dead bodies in my trunk so space isnt really an issue. i have a lot of depth. not soo much height though.

LOL.About a month ago I built my first well planned/built T-line enclosure for 2 12" L7 and it came out wicked.Very loud at just about any hz,and unbelievable accuracy.I was running 4 12 L5s in 9 cubes@35 on an Orion 2500d and they wanged.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Alright to make it simple,when u port a box,the port resonce it what makes it loud,a tline enclosure is for the most part just a long port.

IDK,I just started learning abouth them maybe 2 months ago,for the most part u have to build and rebuild to get it right.And now I have no proplem designing or building em.

I had mine in a box @ 2.95 cb ft. Tuned to 34hz, sounded great, and I had another freind who had a 12 in L7 in like a 4.25cb ft box tuned to like 37hz, he didnt have much low-end but off 1,000 watts he was almost doing hair tricks, the sq was trash though.....
