12" JVC Arsenal or 12" JL Audio W6v2

Hello,

My buddy is looking to buy a sub and he asked me today about the JVC Arsenal. I have a JL audio 12w6v2 and I told him to just go with my JL, but I was wondering what you guys think is the better choice?

I don't know anything about the JVC but for my personal tastes the JL wins regardless. The chances of the JVC sounding as good as the JLs are close to zero. I don't much care about output quantity.

well he getting 2 put into his comaro z28 tomorrow. I'm going to drive to his house and we going to have a little 1v1 battle, and if i win than possibly a 2v1 battle. I'll let you know how my JL does. I downloaded some bass music so i should do great with quality.

So I heard the JVC. Its ok, He got 2 of them put in and they hit fairly nice, but its 2 and they seem to hit the notes well. Its in a closed enclosure which is what makes it hit pretty solid. It doesn't go as low as my JL does, but for the money its not that bad of a sub, its ok. You can get them on amazon for $150. In a 1v1 my JL wins. It was a birthday present from his mother so he didn't want to spend that much. He says he probably gonna go with JL once he gets a new car.
