It works fine at low and moderate volume level. The only problem is at high volume, the voice coil rubs. The previous owner of the sub put bolts onto the spider ring and tried to fix it. lol.
It's an easy fix if you have time and patience. All you have to do is run test tones (have the sub run at higher excursion) and move the spider ring until it doesn't make noises anymore. After that, just tighten the bolt and you're done.
Either that, or have ID recone the sub for $90. That's a total of $250 for an fresh reconed IDMAX in the worst case scenerio. Otherwise, just keep the volume at low to moderate volume and you'll be fine.
