Hey guys I need help!!

Someone is considering a trade. I have the new 12" hcca.

Is this a good trade?

update:

alright guys I picked up the sub. he said he had it for seven months and used it for 2.

i tested it out and everything seemed to be fine. i checked the ohm and it read 1.9 each ohm.

it does not smell burnt or stinky. some light scratches on the magnet but the surround and everything looks brand new.

not sure if its broken in yet. oh yeah and he also gave me a boston acoustic GT-180 4 channel amp that i can't find any info out about them.

hey guys.. i was bored today so i decided to take out my sub.

i took a closer, thorough look and i was pissed.

here is what i saw:

that's right.. a shitty looking recone. man i knew i shoulda gave it a good look when i traded.. i was too excited and all.

random glue spots is on spider... spider looks discolored, exposed voice coil wire?

and i decided to free-air on low volume.



heard like a rattling noise? may be air coming out of vents?... seems like the spider is glued on crooked...

man im pissed...

on a brighter note, the subs do hit...

i played music for about 30 minutes fairly loud on the way home from college and it was barely warm.. 2000RMS at 14.3v. oh and it doesnt smell burnt either..

any suggestions on what to do?

Looks like a D-motor 9500 to me.

Yea, trade it.

If you every kill the DD, just recone it.

You can make it anything from a 10" to an 18".

no.. It may be slightly above or below 2. Just aslong as its pretty close to it.

No, anywhere from like 1.4-2.8 can be consider Dual 2 for the most part.

It's likely good unless it's reading like 19024719028, or like .00001.
